Gail West, PhD, LPC, LMFT, Director
Dr. West is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is the Director of New Dawn Counseling Center where she counsels adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and conducts groups. Dr. West has also counseled clients at Highland Institute for Behavioral Change, Crossroads Counseling Center, Hope Counseling Center in Atlanta, Acuity Counseling Services, and at River Edge Behavioral Health.
Dr. West is certified to provide pre-marital and marital counseling under the PREPARE-ENRICH Program. She also provides counseling to individuals under the Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons Community Treatment Services Program.
She has a Bachelor’s of Arts from Mercer University, a Masters of Public Administration from Georgia College, and a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Psychological Studies Institute (now Richmont Graduate University) in Atlanta. Dr. West also holds a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amridge University in Montgomery, AL.
Dr. West is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
